Our Caring Ministry team seeks to respond to the various needs of our community. When someone is experiencing a personal or family crisis, we offer comfort in the way of handwritten notes, phone calls, and visits to members who are ill or otherwise unable to attend church. We want you to know that the church is there and praying for you.
Personal and family crises affect the routine of a home. Follow-up ministry continues personal contact with members after they come home from the hospital. We check in on them to ask if there are other concerns. Sometimes arrangements are made for meals to be brought into the home. Volunteers prepare food and deliver them to the home until the member is back on their feet.
Newcastle United Methodist Church offers care, encouragement and companionship to members in stressful circumstances. If you want to be part of this compassionate ministry, please let us know!
